Volunteers drive OSHIIP. Dedicated people are needed to be volunteers in all parts of Ohio. As a volunteer you’ll learn Medicare basics; you’ll help people in your community, and you’ll have the satisfaction of taking part in a truly worthy cause.
The OSHIIP initial volunteer training consists of self-paced online training modules with about 8-hours of material including videos, resources, knowledge checks, and a final exam. Once the online modules are completed, volunteers meet with the OSHIIP community liaison in their area and are expected to report regular client contacts, public media, outreach, and attend annual volunteer refresher training sessions to maintain an active volunteer status.
Volunteers are always needed and wanted. Choose a date, time, and topic below, then click to register!

Aug. 3 - Medicare Basics
Aug. 10 - Medicare Coverage Rules
